A Conversation with Mardell
My wife (without the impediment of legal training) was reading Nate's post regarding whether church members might be disciplined for suing the church and immediately suggested a line of reasoning that cuts to the chase:
Mardell: Let's go back to the temple recommend interview questions. "Have you sued a church member lately?" is not one of them!
Me: Is that following and obeying the leaders, though?
Mardell: It has nothing to do with the doctrine of the church -- it has everything to do with the leg that you broke!
I couldn't have said it better.
